Subject: Which NYC TV Weatherman ?

From the NY Post Page 6.....WHICH broadcast TV weatherman could be facing the ax because he "just isn't working out?" Snitches say producers of the show are secretly courting a rival weatherguy, who might end up with a fat contract AND a game show if he stays where he is because his boss doesn't want to lose him.

I saw this mentioned on another site, and it says the weatherman in danger of losing his job is Dave Price on the CBS morning show. Also went on to say that they might try to replace him with Al Roker. (I wouldn't worry about Meredith....NBC is going to let her finish out her contract hosting Millionaire)

sam is the tristates top weatherman, he makes 1.7 mil a year. i dont think eyewiness news will give him up.i enjoy his specials, the latest one on cental park was intersting!i would like him on regis or anyother show!

I miss that face, he was very very friendly all the time. Loved to watch him,waited for him to come on. He is a very sharp dresser and always gave accurate reports.
Heard he could go back to channel 5. I hope so. Really miss seeing him.

He was accepted and started towards his Climatology or weather PhD but don't know when or what school exactly. Know he will not be renting out his place any longer in NYC - sold it? ... or
is he coming back?
Hope he does both.

Not since Dr. Frank Field did NYC ever have this kind of TV presence and in the real field - that's wonderful.

He is resilient - know him since we were kids.

And yes he is ... a cat guy but only one kind, hates the others. Likes chocolate ice cream and don't bother him if he is reading about storms, otherwise - where and when?

Needs to stop following the nun school rules. Never got none either, damn it. And will someone mess up his hair - nice crop to run your fingers through!

All jealous of him from day one. Some things never change.

It's all been like an upsidedown tornado since he left the air. Strange people from somewhere else are on now all the time, it looks bad all over.It's just downright bad, c'mom now! It stands out now that a lot of people just don't know how to do weather at all.

We really need this guy back - a wonderful smile, from brooklyn. He was the good guy - all the time. A rare quality these days.

Mixed background, too? Did a lot for the commnity, all over the place.Saw him and his (wife? don't know) at a street fair, and that was it. He always made a great fit and people comfortable during the interviews. People still ask about him. Others doing the interviews now are real blah! Isn't NBC trying to get him on again? They said they were going to.

I read it in the paper a long time ago...

she is very sly, and tries to be bossy, but is a low paid not very smart person who is already isn't should be fired. But before she does needs to deal with her backstabbing ways.

It would be great if Joe Morneo were to make it back on the air in New York. He's incredibly handsome and appears to be a really nice guy too. Much better than some of the other "forecasters" who currently grace the airwaves.
