Scott Evans currently plays Officer Oliver Fish on OLTL, a gay character. Scott also happens to be gay and gave an interview to AfterElton about his coming out.
Among other things: It was slow. I graduated high school early because I knew I needed to get to New York City. I moved here and lived with my older sister. She knew first, and then my mother, and then my little sister. It was one by one. The oldest of the trio, Kevin, had plenty of bi and gay rumors but he's now engaged. Is this a way of deflecting the rumors and keeping Dad Jonas, an ordained minister, happy with the hetero publicity? Will Kevin actually go through with the marrige? Is it a bearding?
There have never been any rumors that Joe (2nd oldest) could possibly be straight. There have been rumors that he wants to come out but Rev. Jonas feels it will badly impact their "pure" image. Will he come out on his own when he gets older?
Nick, the youngest of the trio (there's one more brother, younger, who hasn't joined the group, yet) has the most acting experience and his time on Broadway surely exposed him to plenty of gay men. Do you think he's straight, undecided, experimenting, or just waiting to see what happens with his older brothers?

Any thoughts? I just found out by watching the show and then I read the "news" has been discussed for a while now online. Well, let's hope that, although not a major character, they will write something good (and definitely NOT stereotypical) for him. Openly gay heartthrob Nicholas Rodriguez has been cast as Nick on ONE LIFE TO LIVE, who will be involved in the Kyle and Fish storyline. Rodriguez is a theater guy who spent more than a year in "Tarzan" on Broadway and appeared in "Cinderella," "Bajour" and many other shows over the past few years. Rodriguez first airs on August 14. Kyle and Fish have recently been back in touch after knowing each other in college (apparently they had a fling).

Just finished watching SuperNatural Season 1 and have found myself wondering about Jared Padalecki, 'Sam' the younger brother on the show. Jensen Ackles comes across as fairly butch, but even in character and in the extras Jared seems to have very fruity moments. The show also makes a few random statements during various episodes that people around them look at them as lovers on occasion.
Jared is said to be friends with Chad Michael Murray, with whom he costarred in "House of Wax" with. Any news?

I was just reading old blogs and articles concerning outing actors from the ABC soaps and on a forum I found a reply to a post about the actor who plays Palmer Courtlandt. The reply said "why don't you post about Darnell Williams, Jill Larson...?" and other names that I can't remember were mentioned, names that come up time and again when people ask and answer who's gay on All my children. I was particularly surprised to read Jill Larson's name! I read her bio, and she's been a theater performer for a long time. No mention of a husband or children. I also read that she starred in a movie about a gay boy not too long ago.
I think she's a good actress and Opal's even kind of funny, which would explain where her son Tad got his sense of humor from, but I've never gotten the "she's family" vibe from her at all. I'm just curious, here, and if she is gay that wouldn't be the first time a lesbian actress is paired up with a gay man on a tv show (if James Mitchell is gay, like it's been stated too many times before).

If you caught the end of Good Morning America Friday morning, you saw ABC's Chris Cuomo & Sam Champion in a dunking booth. Chris braved the booth with a nice tighty-whitey t-shirt, while Sam covered up with a jogging suit.
All I can say is when they had splashdown, not only was Chris's chest nice, but you could see the 6-pack abs and they looked really, really nice!
I think Chris Cuomo needs to do an interview swimmers (ala Anderson Cooper) and get down to his skivvies.

In the latest episode of the Carter Family soap opera, one-time child star Aaron Carter has allegedly given an interview in which he claims that between the ages of 4 and 11 his parents regularly rented him out for adult fun & games. only when they realized they could make more money off exploiting his singing "talent" rather than his sexual prowess did the horror show stop.
Do you think Nick knew? Was Nick used that way too? Or were they sent out as a pair? Is it any wonder Aaron is as messed up as he is?

I've been in Fl for a while and am seeing Jeff Garcia of the Tampa Bay Bucs in infrequent interviews (seems to avoid them). I get a strange gay ping from this guy that I can't really explain. The New York Post published a piece on the book "Tabloid Prodigy", in which author Marlise Elizabeth Kast recounts tales of when she worked for the scandal sheets and was given the assignment to write a story on Tobey Maguire and Leo DiCaprio possibly being gay. Kast went to Maguire's mother and managed to get some interesting quotes.
In "Tabloid Prodigy," Kast writes how she tracked down Maguire's mother, Wendy, a secretary, and "told her that I was working on an article for a gay pride magazine about sexual expression among Hollywood stars. I asked her if she'd be willing to share any thoughts about her son's close bond with Leonardo."
Wendy Maguire responded to Kast, "I figured this subject would come up sooner or later . . . Those two are just free-spirited guys. Most of the friends they hang around with are gay. They're comfortable with that. But I think Leo and Tobey are the crossover between men and women. They have feminine traits they are willing to accept. They aren't ashamed to have any sort of title, even if that means someone calling them gay."

The country superstar is opening up about the gay rumors that started after the end of his short marriage to Reneé Zellweger. Speculation was partly due to the wording on the actress' annulment papers, which cited "fraud" as a reason for their split.
"What guy who loves girls wouldn't be angry about that? I didn't sign up for that," Chesney tells Playboy magazine of his reaction to the rumors. "I'm pretty confident in the fact that I love girls. [laughs] I've got a long line of girls who could testify that I'm not gay."
A long line indeed.
"There were years when I had a better summer than A-Rod," Chesney boasts, adding that he's been with "over 100" women. "My first five years on the road were intense, because I was the guy in college who never got laid until I started playing guitar."
As for the demise of Chesney's relationship with Zellweger, he says paparazzi are partly to blame. But he doesn't shy away from taking some of the blame himself.
"I panicked, there's no doubt about it," he says of his reaction to the overwhelming media attention that came with his marriage. "I did the only thing I knew to do -- I ran. I pushed her away ... I didn't have any clue as to what true marriage meant. I was so used to committing to one thing -- music -- and then I had to totally commit to a second thing, marriage. I didn't know how to commit to both of them."
Chesney is currently on the road with his Sun City Carnival tour, headlining major festivals and stadium shows ... with, we're guessing, lots of women at each meet-and-greet.

Was on the OSU campus last week and about croaked when I passed cutie-pie Paul Hamm, Olympic gold medalist. Seems he is enrolled in school - along with his equally humpie brother - and training with the OSU gymnastic coach.
Paul was wearing tiny shorts, and an unbuttoned shirt, showing off his beautiful, buff, and hairy body and legs.
I spoke to him as we passed, and he responded in a very high-pitched, effeminate voice. If I'd had my wits about me I would have followed him to his car and ofered to do him right there.
The guy exudes the perfect queer jock persona. Then I though about some of the other hot gymnasts, like Bart Conners, Tim Daggett, and Kip Simons. Those three are pretty well confirmed gay dudes. Wonder how many other gymnasts, past and present, American and foreign, there are.
Has anyone else had a close encounter or even better?
