There was a huge pageant held in maine this past weekend, with at least 10 participants in every category. Does anyone know about this pageant, and what happened? From the sounds of it ther were MANY contestants each paying a $500 entry fee. I read about at least 5 contestants in the Bridgton News, and the competition was in Portland. -- MAINE PAGEANT FORUM

They get over 100 girls interested each year and even if you don't win, you're still invited to nationals if you receive a certain score. It's very well run and the director does a great job getting prizes, lots of prize money awarded.
