Date Posted: 19:23:15 09/09/12 Sun The hopper has a probe in the middle of the bowl that when coins reach it they will send a ground signal to the MPU that the Diverter needs to send the coins to the drop. A diverter will often go bad because there is a small solenoid that controls which way it moves and they go bad. But it can also be a connection on the hopper or the solenoid.
