When slot hits a payout it trips a breaker to that wall outlet. Is this a shorted hopper motor.? How do i test with meter.

Never had to work on an E series but they used to use what was called a suicide cable. Basically the hopper should use 120 volts (double check) and is plugged into a plug strip. Be ready to hit the switch on the strip or unplug it there is a reason they called it a suicide cable.
