Subject: Igt blowing fuse

Just bought an IGT slant top haywire machine, everything works perfect until you push the cash out button then it blows a fuse, I have swapped out the coin hopper and still blows fuse , any direction from anyone would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like a short somewhere. Something to keep in mind, those machines originally came with slow blow fuses otherwise they would blow fuses all the time.

I am using regular fuses and they blow Ias sone as the button is pushed would slow blow make a difference at this point or would you think I still have other problems, I guess just tract the wires from the cash out button to the board?

Even without a slow blow fuse it shouldn't be blowing constantly. so there most likely is a short somewhere. Possibly the hopper motor.
