It's something I think about often. I stopped competing adult levels a few years ago because it was always the same few people and seemed somewhat like a dead-end.

I would love to chat with those of you that have made the move, learn why you decided it was right for you, hear how it all went and where you started out in the overs, and know what you are doing with dance now, etc.

I would also like to comunicate with others that are considering it but just haven't made the move - like me.

It all started when that stupid no slow hardshoe rule was put in place....And-over dancer21:10:40 05/25/11 Wed
Agree: stupid slow-speed rule. Anyone hear that this year's meeting at NANs there will be a vote rescinding it? If so, that would be great, because I can't switch to overs for 2 reasons: 1, not allowed by my TC and 2, wouldn't be able to compete in adult ceili; I'm all for getting back slow speeds (NT)rumor or not?09:13:48 05/26/11 Thu

Wonder if somehow you could get this changed in the SR region? Any sympathetic TCs who might be willing to bring it up at meeting? (NT)and-over adult18:48:34 05/28/11 Sat
I dropped down last year. They were very few dancers (1-3) competing inHop_12319:21:45 07/02/11 Sat
