] Date Posted: Tue, Dec 06 2011, 8:26:48 Miss Ecuador Olga Alava is fine as a winner, I think she is deserving, so congrats to Ecuador!! VENEZUELA should've placed higher! BRAZIL was hot! PHILIPPINES is so undeserving! How can she placed that high? I never felt disappointed like this since Laura Dunlap placed in the Top 10 in 2003. At least the ugly Tall girl who placed in 2006 as Miss Water was tall, but this? it's so unacceptable!! CRIMEA should've placed in the Top 4, that could have been a great Top 4, MEXICO was on fire too! BOSNIA and HERZEGOVINA was a headscratcher, PARAGUAY, JAPAN or UKRAINE should've placed in her spot! ZIMBABWE was a pleasant surprise though she looked as if she was on cracked but I like Thandi, no offense meant! The stage was great, I love it! But the LIGHTING was so gloomy and frustrating! We can't really appreciate the beauty of each of the Top 8 sashaying in evening gowns because it was dark! My gosh! this has been a perennial problem in Miss Earth! I'm disappointed with this pageant, I had so much high hopes but it all ended in the drain.. And because of this, I'm ready to untie my support to this pageant. Take a look of MU10 dance opening no. wow, the choreography was just great and the flow of choreography was emphasized by the cameraman. Again the calling of semi finalists was another mess. Some semi finalists had to pause a while behind to give way to the girl called ahead of her. The semi finals were boring. How the hell Miss Philippines advanced to the top 8 against those beauties? Its a big question mark. Its a pity cuz Miss Earth this year showed a lot of promise but everything was ruined by the placement of Miss Philippines which is very embarrassing. | |
