] Date Posted: Sat, Aug 27 2011, 10:04:54 ![]() ![]() My intention is not to be rude or anything but I wish the Miss Earth Org just leaves the stage design to the local broadcast companies in Thailand and Vietnam and maybe they can just approve it? I read somewhere last year that they took part in the stage design and I noticed, the way they designed it they kind of limit themselves on the technologies that ABS-CBN had, hence last year's stage was not that nice as compared to what VTV was capable of. If you guys watch Miss Vietnam on youtube, same broadcasters of Miss Earth, the Stage was at least 10x better so I expected so much from Miss Earth. But instead, they came up with that weird shaped LED thingy in the background, but nevertheless, it was a great show, I just wish Miss Earth would take advantage of the modern technologies that the rest of the world has to offer. Look at Miss Supranational, such a noob pageant but the stage is even better than the 2010 Miss Universe pageant. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
| [> Subject: You are just underestimating the Thai organizers when it comes to do the stage design? It still 3 months before the pageant night. 100% full confident that it will be very spectacular in Bangkok. Don't worry Forest and Thai culture will rule the pageant night and 0% boring. | |

| [> [> Subject: I don't think what I said comes close to underestimating the Thai Organizers. In fact it's more of the opposite. I'm saying let the Thai organisers do the stage design and the Miss Earth Org can worry about other things like making sure all the fonts of the sashes are the same. | |

| [> Subject: I agree. Stage should be left to the producers of the show and not the Miss Earth organizers. But maybe money is a problem? I wish they'd take the pageant to the USA and make it more popular there because then maybe Miss Earth would have bigger sponsors and more money. But it is not very popular in the USA. Also nobody has won from USA. Miss World is now very popular because USA won that pageant. But this stage is really great but Miss Earth needs a bigger one anyway | |

What they are doing with Miss Supranational now is the same as what they did to Miss Tourism Queen International before. | |

| [> Subject: I agree with the last 2 posts. If you have the best stage in the world but the production quality is below the standard, the pageant is still dull and boring. | |
