But, sorry I don't understand why these girls required getting photographed four (4) months before the Pageant starts in Thailand? Anyway, love those efforts for Miss Earth contest!

I think this is optional to the National directors, just like last year wherein most delegates send a photoshoots with Blue Swimsuit (last year's theme is Water Conservation). This is what Miss Universe also does ("the Glamshots") so they can post something for their websites.
