Do you know who made the Bible, where it came from?

I do not refer to the scriptures within the Bible, as it is said that God authored those words through his mouthpieces known as prophets. I refer to the book we call the Bible, where did this compilation begin, who made it?

Well, the first making of the Bible existed around 367 AD. It was made by St. Athanasius, Bishop of Alexandria and then it did not exist as we have it now. Since that first making of Bible it has been edited many times since, but guess who this Bishop was a Bishop of? - He was the Bishop of the early "Catholic church". He was not a bishop of the original early Christian Church created by Christ.

St. Athanasius was a revered catholic theologian and became one of the first early Father of the Catholic church.

To ensure you understand, the Early Catholic church was NOT the early Christian Church that Christ created with his Apostles. When the Apostles died or passed on, the true Church of Christ fell into disarray and apostasy. History books confirm that for some time after the leaving of the Apostles, that the early Christian Churches became disorganized and tainted with Greek philosophies and pagan doctrines. In addition, bishops could not agree on doctrine or resolve scriptural concerns. Each Bishop headed his own area of congregation but had no power or authority over another congregation. Each congregation in each town had it's own bishop.

This was an example of the disarray that existed in the early Christian Church when the Apostles left. There was no "head of the Church" anymore and because of that arguments and disagreements were abound on how to keep the Church afloat.

In addition, when the Apostles were heading the Christian Church, God lead them by revelation through the Holy Ghost. This is why Paul clearly said that he was not taught by men, but by the Spirit of God.

But...

When all the Apostles were gone, so was the connection to God. Without the guidance and communication from God, the Bishops moved into the political sphere and away from the doctrines of the Lord. Eventually, through political decisions and "scriptural compromises", the Bishops gained governmental acceptance and "safety from persecution" at around 383 AD, when Rome made Christianity the state religion. This was the sign that the early Christian Church was gone and out of God's direction and taken over by men of the Roman Government who through political influence effected the "Bishops" of the left over churches.

By that time the doctrines of the Early Christian Church were destroyed and what remained became corrupted. The workings of the church effectively abandoned the Spirit of God and politics became it's favour. Just read the history of it.

It was "favoritism and accommodation" that began to rule the workings of the early Catholic church. The apostles gone, it was easy for the "doctrines of men" and divers philosophies infiltrated the doctrines of the church and doctrinal corruption became it's mainstay.

The true Church of Christ was created by Jesus Christ himself, making his 12 Apostles the head of his Church. He never did and never authorized "bishops" to head his Church. When disarray exists, and God's leaders are gone from the Church of God, it is a sure sign it has fallen and no longer of God.

The scriptures we know as the "New Testament" was acquired through teachings and writings by the Apostles, such as Paul's Epistles. As Paul said it came by the Spirit of God, not by the ways of men.

Did the original teachings and writings of the Apostles remain? The answer is no, but remnants of their works were found in many personal writings of Christian followers, but there were no original texts or documents saved that originated from the Apostles.

This says that the "Bible" was not made from the original writings of Paul or any of the other Apostles, since none existed by the time the Bible was first formed. They were either lost or destroyed because of the heavy persecution by the Roman government. Not one of the Apostles were favoured by the Roman government, all were persecuted, tortured, or killed. Now do you wonder how the Bishops managed to gain favour with a government that persecuted the saints?

When the Bible was first formed, many of the writings that did exist were filtered out. With no Holy Spirit to guide them as to what was a proper copy of the works of the Apostles, many of these writings and copies were thrown away or destroyed. From the time that the Apostles were with the Church of Christ to the time of the Bible, the New Testament was formed, but was incomplete. Too many doctrines that God gave the Apostles were taken away, ignored, removed etc.

That is where the Bible came from.

Now a person who abides in Christ must determine if the words found in the Bible - New Testament are the words of God and how can that be determined without personal or private interpretations!

Amen
