ZONA NORTE

Esta zona está conformada por 5 estados de nuestro país: Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, San Luis Potosí y Zacatecas.
Su extensión territorial es de 659,453 km2 y su población es 11’023,867 habitantes.


Clima
Planicies de clima árido atravesadas por dos cordilleras, la Sierra Madre Occidental y la Sierra Madre Oriental y en medio de ellas el gran Desierto Chihuahuense, son los signos distintivos de la geografía de este territorio.


Lugares de interés
Desierto chihuahuense, reserva de la biosfera pinacate, las barrancas del cobre, sótano de las golondrinas, cuatro ciénegas, la quemada alta vista, barranca de Urique, lago arareco, dunas de yeso.


Platillos a disfrutar
Caldo de oso, merengues, mole, enchiladas con chile rojo, Enchiladas potosinas, tacos rojos potosinos, pancita, carnitas, chicharrones, gorditas, etc.

Bebidas
Sotol, mezcal, tequila y pulque.
