Subject: LITTLE MISS CENTRALIAN Author: CHILDREN PAGEANT [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 05/11/09 Mon 1st Annual Little Miss Centralian Pageant For the past thirty-five years, Knott County Central High School has held the Miss Centralian Pageant. For the first time ever, the school will hold the 1st Annual Little Miss Centralian Pageant on June 20th. The pageant will begin at 7:00 pm with Devaudrey Bixler, the reigning Miss Centralian crowning the winners. Age groups are 0-2; 3-5; 6-8 and 9-11. Contestants will compete in Beauty competition will they will be judged on Facial Beauty, modeling and/or personality, Attire and Overall appearance. Photogenic competition will also be offered to the participants. Also, contestants will model to upbeat music in the Sportswear competition. Talent competition is an optional event offered (age groups 0-3; 4-7 and 8-11) along with categories: Most Beautiful; Best Dress; Prettiest Eyes, Best Smile and Best Personality. Awards will be given in all phrases of competition that include Large trophies, rhinestone crowns and banners. The overall winner (score based on Beauty, Photogenic and Sportswear) will be crowned “LITTLE MISS CENTRALIAN” and help with the crowning of the new Miss Centralian this November. She will also make appearances throughout the county with Miss Centralian Devaudrey Bixler and have her photo featured in the annual program book. “Little Miss Centralian” will have the opportunity to meet celebrities at the Miss Centralian this November. Past guest to the pageant have included Actress Rebecca Gayheart (“Urban Legend” “90210” and “Jawbreaker”); Jessica Combs-Diamond (“Dr. 90210”); Vadim Dale from “Outback Jack”; Chris Daughtery, the million dollar winner from “Survivor”; David and Mary Conley from “The Amazing Race”; Tom Kenney “WTVQ” and Nancy Cox “WLEX and former Miss Kentucky”.
