Bruce was the best street fighter there was. The guys who challenged him were easy as pie and got their butts kicked fast. The martial arts mania that swept the 70's after Bruce died was very popular through the early 80's and than diminished. These were all Hong Kong productions that were imported to the US and other countries. Lots of those films are on DVD today.

The big movie stars that worked in Hollywood martial arts films came in later. 'Bloodsport' (1989) was a rip-off of 'Enter the Dragon' with Jean. As for our governor, his second term expires next year and the guy can't keep the Golden State on track, so I'll be relieved in a sense when he's out of office.
