] Date Posted: Saturday, July 14, 08:31:41pm Miss FL USA does it right. The top 16 compete in all 3 phases of the competition. The top 5 are then chosen. Miss USA should follow suit. I realize that due to time constraints that they may have to go to a top 12. But you may have someone who is strong in interview but doesn't make the first cut because they are not as strong in swimsuit. The top 5 then can answer the same question like they did in the 90s. this is just my opinion. Take away Trumps power by not allowing him or the organization to choose any of the finalists.
