Chocolate chux carmel crunch

i take recipes and rewrite to reduce sugar and fat and this turned out good. sandi makes killer hot chux mix. this is a cool sweet one.

8 cups chocolate chux cereal
3/4 c. brown sugar. i used brown splenda
6 T. butter or marjorine. i used 4 T
3T. light corn syrup
1/4 t. baking soda
1/4 cup white vanilla baking chips. i used sugar free dark chocolate. not the baking kins but the eating kind.
in large microwavable bowl measure cereal and set aside. line cookie sheet with wax paper.
in 2 cup microwavable measuring cup microwave brown sugar,butter and corn syrup uncovered for 1-2 min. stirring after one minuteuntill melted and smooth. stur in baking soda untill disolved. pour over cereal stirring till evenly coated. mictowave for three minutes. stirring every minute. spread on cookie sheet and cool 10 minutes. break into bite sized pieces.
in small microwavable bowl melt the chocolate for 1-1 1/2 min.or till it can be stirred smooth. drizzle over snax. refrigerate to chill and set.. store in tightly civered container.

  - Yup, I got released Monday evening!!!!!!!!!!!! Still have to take things slow, I;m tired and a bit woozy and really have to be careful with what I eat but indeed, home in time for Bones (Tonight, on Global - hopefully they'll upload the ep soon after) and back with my doggies. YEAY \o/. FYI, I have been told tho that unfortunately, it wasn't the last time in the hospital. These obstructions can happen more often now and I should keep that in mind. We have dodged the rain and the flooding all week, & are hoping and praying it holds off until Saturday night. Got about 150 people from the Brain Tumor Foundation for Kids, Make-A-Wish and the Starlight foundations coming for our annual picnic & boat rides. We will be heading out to Costco later to load up on the food, and just everyone keep these special kids and their families in your thoughts. They are truly wonderful, and bring us all a smile with willingness to let us into their hearts. Its a tiring day, and we'll all be brain dead on Sunday, but so well worth it, especially when you get a hug or see a child's face light up.

i read tonight a post on Twitter from chobes that she had gone to the hospital. Do not know if this is related to her very serious surgery or something else. but am concerned. i do not know how to work Twitter so will post here. Please all of you who pray, please pray for her. She has been through a lot and i want God to hear all our concerns. he hears all our prayers but says that when two or more are gathered in his name. he is there with them. So if you are one who prays, please do so and maybe post a note here for Sandi to pass on to her. Hi, all!

I've been knitting for a long time, but I was never taught how to read a pattern! Yes, it's true. LOL! SO that means I am limited to baby blankets, dish cloths, scarves, and baby caps. Does anyone know of a place where I can find some very easy, creative patterns for beginners?

I would like to ask you all a favor. My son, Anthony isa Chief petty officer on the USS Bremerton SSN 698 currently is out to sea between thecoast of alifornia and hawaii. If you have a minute would you say prayers for he, the Bremerton and his mates. he always tells me how safe his is but to me the minute that boat goes underwater is is dangerous. he is good son , husband and loves his job which is to protect us all. would appreciate mentioning him and the Bremerton to Go. thanks. he really like jag but loves to pick apart the submarine stories. want to share a recipe I am making for dinner. Twice Bakes Potato Casarolle. Very simple and tastes great. Start with 1 1/2 c. FF sour cream. Add 1 c. grated or cubed cheeze. any kind use up left overs and add more for better taste. add a bit of salt and pepper. then just add what ever you like. chopped crisp baccon, green and red peppers chopped, 1/2 a yellow or white onion chopped, chopped green onion, dried or fresh chopped chives, peperoni, other ver. what ever you find in the frig. Stur up and add bag of unfrozen frozen (big bag0 hash browns. mix well. can top with more cheese and crumbled ritz crackes for more carbs. i put into large pyrex baking dish. bake 350 for 35-45 min. She'll probably be mad at me for posting this since she's such a private person, but my Twinny lost her little baby Yorkie last night.

Anyone that has pets understands the loss, they are such a part of the family, give unconditional love, and it hurts so much when you lose one. Oscar was a little sweetie pie, I'd call up there and he'd bark his hello to me, and my heart just breaks for my Twinny.

I'm sending you nothing but HUGS and LOVE, I know how much you all are hurting (Mr. Twinny and the girls), he was a sweet, special little boy.
