I came across your website and thought I would say to you all many thanks for perpetuating the Black Watch name. I was a piper with The 1st Bn The Black Watch during the 70s and toured the United States to celebrate your Bicentennial. We do not exist as an individual Regiment anymore but continue as The 3rd Bn The Royal Regiment of Scotland. I was very proud to be a Black Watch soldier and just as proud to be ex Black Watch. If any of your members would like to drop me an email I would be very happy to correspond with them. I wish you guys all the best for the future.
