Subject: Belated 5-15-2010 Jr. & Sr. Prom News


It was brought to our attention that we didn't report details about the Sat., 5-15-2010 Jr. & Sr. High School Prom we attended.

Because us Jocks had a high school varsity baseball make-up game day to be played earlier on that date, our prom dates decided it would be cool to attend our game. They brought along their prom dresses and changed before we took them out to dinner.

Following dinner it was to the prom.

Because the dates we chose were from a different school district and our school and theirs had a policy rule you could not have a guest, but only a prom date from your own school, us Jocks attended school board meetings of the two districts and each changed their prom policy to allow attend outside of district guests to that schools prom.

When a U.S. President is inaugurated he usually attends several inaugural balls with his first lady. If it is good enough for a president to do then, of course its good enough for five jocks to take their prom dates to two different proms.

Seeing how the girls came to our hometown to watch our baseball game earlier and we took them to dinner, it was only fitting and proper that they attend our high school prom first. We danced with them there for an hour or so to make an appearance at our school then, we drove the girls to their hometown high school a short distance away.

Kyle and his girlfriend, Julie are from the same high school, so they stayed the entire evening at Kyle's school.

Joel and his date Holly, whom he finally won back after a misunderstanding; along with girlfriends of hers whom us Jocks have come to know and call "Farm Girls" because Holly and them come from a farming community, saw Joel & Holly and Sean, Cody and Luke and their prom dates attended the Jr. & Sr. High School Prom at the girls' school. Everyone danced until it was time to go home. The guys escorted their dates home and kissed them good night.

Because Joel's grandparents live in that town, Sean, Cody and Luke were Joel's overnight guests at Joel's grandparents farm home for the night, were served a big breakfast by Joel's grandmother to the guys she has come to call "her boys". Afterwards the boys hung-out some at the farm for part of the day for a visit and fun, then they returned and drove to their hometown homes.

All in all, it was a night to remember for Joel, Sean, Cody and Luke attending two proms in one night which, not every jr. or sr. high school prom attenders can say they have done in their high school career.
