Hey Steve & Bill,

Got back late from the 4th of July Weekend last night, so I and the rest of the guys are dragging, lucky we don't have to be at YMCA Camp until late morning!

Had a great weekend!!

Good food, visiting with my grandparents, friends and lots of people in the community paid tribute to us guys for winning the second state baseball title, and had fun playing the baseball game against our dads.

Us Jocks almost bet our dads in the home run derby, but thought maybe we better not. Wonder if they would have wantd to bet?

Man, our dads were all over the field, lots of hustle, etc.; and you guys thought we should take it easy on them? Nope, and they kept yelling they were going to "kick our little asses this year" each inning, too! I guess we should'em!

WE (JOCKS) won l5-6, I and Sean & Cody each hit a homerun in the game so we each got to swat Joel, Luke and Evan each on the bare butt for us winning the homerun contest. When it came time for Kyle to get his swats Sean, Cody and myself laid them on EXTRA HARD on his butt. We gave the swats at my grandpa's house when in the bathroom when we went back to cleanup before eating again, going to fireworks and hanging out with some girls. I picked up a few new phone numbers for my collection!

We had quite a few kids want to pose for photos with us and asked for autographs. One little boy wanted asked if he could be our batboy he was so taken with us after he found out who we were.

Didn't "visit" the barn to straighten out Kyle's attitude to give him the razor strap, not that we didn't want to and he needs to, but too many people around, and like you said our dads might think we were setting off fire crackers, instead of licking Kyle's butt.

We are going to see what the surroundings might be at the YMCA Camp for a late night "session" with Kyle, so we'll let you know what happens.

Hope you each had a great 4th of July?

Steve, how'd the fireworks lighting lessons go with Jason and Alex? Hope they enjoyed the fun, and had a few days to recover their little sore butts from misbehaving before the holiday I'm sure!

Yeah, with the extra boys this year, staying at home makes sense, but that doesn't mean you can't have visitors. Did the baies cry alot hearing the fireworks shoot off?

Bill, how'd your holiday weekend go with your Mom, etc.? How'd those Cardinals do, were they in town to watch?

Weather was hot, but we did find time to do some swimming, and "invited" some girls over a late night swim on Saturday night!
The weekend was great, except one thing happened on the way home. Luke got a speeding ticket driving my car. His dad doesn't know about it yet and I asked Luke does he believe he has to tell his dad about it? Not that I'm trying to get Luke off, but I think its none of his dad's business. There would not be anything dishonest I believe if Luke's dad wasn't told!

What do you think Steve and Bill? Should Luke have to tell his dad about the ticket? Luke never got a speeding ticket before, and doesn't know if his dad would punish him for it.
I told Luke why does he feel he would get punished, he was driving my car so his dad should NOT do anything to him!

Luke and I were not 'horsing around' in the car on the way home...the speeding incident just happened!

Luke spent the night at my house, not that he was chicken to go home, he just thought he'd feel better to stay with me. Plus, all the guys go back to work at the YMCA Camp today after the AWESOME 4th of July weekend!

I asked Luke if he learned anything from this, and he said, yes, not to have a lead foot on the gas pedal anymore and to watch the speedometer and stay inside the speed limit!"

Luke is learnin' and his butt isn't burning!

Any comments, Steve and Bill?
