If Luke is still living at home, even if he has his own car and is paying his own insurance, he HAS to tell his dad. Luke's speeding ticket could cause his dad's car insurance to go up! My car insurance company monitors the driving record of EVERYONE in the household, not just me.

On a sidenote, I would recommend that Luke hire an attorney to get that ticket "fixed" so as to protect his driving record.
