Hey Luke

Well i see it did not take you very long to get your first speeding ticket did it young man? IF you qualified for lower insurance premiums by taking drivers-ed well that save driving discount is lost now. IF I were your dad, this would be the type of 'discussion' we would be having with you draped across the hood of your car, holding that ticket, with your pants and undewear at your ankles and getting a good whipping with my belt. NOW some advice you can really use.....

First off tell your dad about the speeding ticket. You may need his financial support to either pay the fine, traffic school or rise in insurance premiums.

MOST states have a way to get a moving violation off your record. Its called Traffic School. You do NOT need an attorney. Call the police station which issued the citation and find out what the fine is and whether you qualify for traffic school. IF you do qualify pay for the school (class) and when successfully completed the violation is removed from your record, so there will be no raise in your insurance premiums. You will still have to pay the fine for the ticket as well.

How fast were you going? MOST speeding tickets IF not too fast will quailfy for traffice school. So its the best option to fix it. Still plead guilty, go to the school, BUT its removed from your record.

Hope this helps.

Steve
