Hey Brother Kyle,--and yes you're still my little bro if you want it that way!

>Sounds like you (probably Dave, too) were not satisfied
>with the barn whipping that Joel, Sean and Cody gave
>my ass?

Satisfied, if they are. Some messages that I've read quickly from them seem to say you have an attitude. This question, only they can answer truthfully.

>Then your suggesting, because I tried to "set" Joel
>up, that I should surrender my ass to the principal
>and afterwards my dad?

What do you think little bro--truthfully? Think school or your dad would be proud of your intentions? Certainly what you put Joel through wasnt full-blown bullying but in a way skirted that vice & certainly didnt treat him with concern. Would it have really awed you Kyle to see him sent to the office--face his dad with that news?

>As for you asking me for a reason to get Joel paddled
>is, I thought he wanted to, was scared to come up with
>an idea or two of his own, so I was going to help him

Dont dish that BS to me bro. You're smarter than that. All the help you offered him awhile back over the broken backboard & leading up to April 1 was telling him he'd get his ass paddled & I think you wanted it to happen for a good laugh at his expense.

>But your actually serious about me wanting to go to
>the principal office?

No Kyle, I dont want a situation for either Joel or you to be sent to the principal. As seniors, you both too old & better than that, but yes, with the attitude you've shown, maybe that's an option to benefit you.

Forget the bet thing Kyle. Your character and long standing friendship is more important & what's at stake.

> Let's say IF I was to "visit" the principal, what
>would I use for any excuse to get me the visit" and
>how would I explain to my dad?

You had a plan in mind for Joel that you thought would work. As for dad, how have you explained yourself in the past?

Pranking that involves gf's is always touchy. Guys must know limits & stick with them. If Joel has told Julie embarrassing things & you've told similar to Holly as he says, then you two bros get together for a truce. I had no gf present or waiting but there were girls I liked in 10th grade who saw the fight & knew both our butts got paddled.

>think Joel understands I was only fooling, I wasn't
>really trying to embarrss him.

Glad to hear Kyle. Now explain that more to Joel. He likes, no really trusts, you Kyle. I recall he suggested he go bare in the barn for 2 licks from you to 'seal your brotherhood' I believe was his words. Cody & Sean did likewise I'm told. I call that a bond of trust.

>You really think I NEED & DESERVE this principal
>paddling and a bet whipping from my dad?

Not what I think Kyle. What do you think about yourself right now? You got a conscience Kyle so what does that little voice tell you now about Kyle? You gotta live with yourself every hour Kyle & face your buddies. You are old enough to assess the situation & do what's right.

You know, your putting Joel in the middle of this!

No little brother, you accomplished this on your own.

Well, little brother, and I mean that, you'll do what's right. As Dave can attest to, big brothers do not always give advice easy to chew & swollow. If nothing else, I got you riled enough with me to talk & hopefully do some real soul-searching thinking. I'm not itching to hear you got your ass paddled at school or home. If it doesn't happen, all the better if it means you'll now think first & act more responsible in the future. If it does happen, you're not the first senior this year, ask Sean, to put his jean-clad ass over the desk so you'll survive dude.

Now, you dudes get together and make this a birthday weekend Cody will remember & have a blast. Kyle, as a big brother, I have confidence in you & the outcome.
