>Hey Joel,

>Sorry I ruined your appetites yesterday with Sean,
>Cody, Luke and I 's message. Maybe we shouldn't have
>shared what happened Sunday, didn't do it to brag, but
>more wanted a few opinions, and we got your two.

You guys were not responsible for ruining my appetite. The whole damn unjust circumstances did that. Never hesitate to talk about anything if we're going to be 'bros'--ok?

I went to talk to my dad, and I sure was shaking and had a hard time trying to tell him what happened Sunday. It took me l5 mins. I'm not sure he believed me at first, because of his friendship having with the golf course
>owner for about 15 years.

I'm proud of you Joel. You did what was right. Any doubt on dad's part was probably directed more toward the owner doing something so wrong than toward you. Remember Joel, your dad's first concern is your welfare.

>My dad said the famous line guys like to hear, "Boy,
>you better be telling the truth or you can expect a
>real paddling that will result in your you little ass
>not wanting to sitdown for a week!"

How many times over the years Joel did you want to hear those words. That's exactly what your ass would deserve if not being truthful.

>Each police officer we talked to talked to our dad's
>and said an investigation will be taking place, and it
>won't take too long, but the police told our dad's the
>words we wanted them to hear, "Sirs, I believe your
>sons are telling the truth! The golf course owner has
>been under some investigation, but that's all we can
>say for tonight.

That's wonderful news Joel. Even without details, it says a great deal about all 4 you guys and your character and that this golf owner dude has been on their 'radar' before.

>When I know more I will let you guys know too.

Good little bro. Want to hear too. Hope they string this dude up by his thumbs for what he did.

>Yes, us guys should have gone to our dad's, but I
>guess you had to be in our shoes, I sure was scared
>and Sean, Cody and Luke were too, especially when that
>man said he would go to the police and he had a
>witness.

Understand you guys being scared, but damn it dude you guys were innocent & you knew it. Next to your friendship & support for one another, no one is a better friend or more loyal in your life than your mom & dad. Being told to drop your shorts & drawers should've scared you sh-tless too & not because of the piece of wood he had but because this weirdo was saying butt-naked. You might have the little ass Holly likes but hope you're not that easy at dropping drawers for every guy who ask.

Proud you guys kept Kyle's name out of the talk. It's the police responsibilty to investigate & uncover the incident & witness(es). Hope it isn't Kyle. That would be more than a funny prank to pull. If he instigated the mess &/or gives a false report to police, a walk or talk with the principal or his dad would be the least of his problems.

>All of guys feel stupid. Here we are l7/18 yrs. old
>and are suppose to, or at least expected to, make
>right choices and decisions, but I guess were are not
>the adults or almost adults people look for us to be.
>I'm not making excuses, but I had fear in not why I
>didn't go to my dad, and the other guys did too, among
>other things.

I'm proud you rectified the initial mistake & talked with your dad. Your dads are your support dudes not some big monster out to chop off your heads, though sounds like they do know how to take off a layer of butt hide when necessary. Just remember that--dad is a best friend and it may not always seem 'cool' as you're getting older but always worth a talk-it-over when something happens or is coming up & need advice.

>Big Brothers, we owe you both a BIG THANK YOU. I don't
>know how we can repay you for giving us the "push"
>that you did. I believe your words in doing so were
>respectable to us as Little Brothers until you saw how
>this was going to play out.

You owe me nothing Joel. Just stand tall & learn from your mistakes & be the fine young man you are.

>I expected all of our dad's to give each of us a BIG
>ASS CHEWING for not coming to them to report this
>matter. Until all comes out, they are probably in
>shock why we let this happen to ourselves, and like
>you both said should have walked our asses out of and
>left the shed.

Now you know, so learn from it. Maybe a reinforced ass chewing from dad might help. Listen & when done, give dad a big hug of thanks & move on and bet you'll both feel better.

>Can I ask a favor, please? And this is for all of the
>guys, too. As Big Brothers, would you please give us
>an ass chewing so we will try, no, so we will DO THE
>RIGHT THING if there is another time so we don't screw
>up and will know what to do and not look like immature
>adult fools and asses!

That favor I won't grant you guys because you've already proved to me you got your heads screwed on just fine. You listened & acted, maybe a bit later than you should have, but sounds as if the wood plank in the shed, as wrong as that was, chewed at least a 24-hour reminder into your ass.
