Drive carefully. I don't want you guys getting a ticket. And no texting or talking on your cell while driving. :D

Maybe we will be watching him on television someday. If he ends up with the Cardinals, I wouldn't mind season tickets.

Another Albert Pujols perhaps?

Joel sounds like he's got real character.

That IS the mark of real character.

Good for you guys. And yes that was what I was referring to.

Nope. I was a loner most of my time in school.

Did you & buddies try using smokeless tobacco? If so, how'd

I never played sports but I did try some skoal once. That stuff is GROSS. Has no appeal to me. The appeal that smoking had for me was that I thought it was kinda cool to blow smoke out of my mouth. I saw adults smoking when I was a little kid and I just couldn't wait to try it for myself and then my older brother offered me that first cigarette. Next thing I knew, I was putting my 80 cents into a cigarette machine and buying that first pack of cigarettes when I was in the second grade. Do you still think I should have gotten whomped for that? I didn't rat out my brother btw.

I am indeed unapologetically a St. Louis Cardinals fan and I think this season is going to be great.

I have mixed emotions about Mark McGwire. I wish he had admitted it sooner. He denied it for years but I figured something was up when he testified before Congress and dodged the question. I don't think Tony LaRussa would have brought him back as Cardinals hitting coach if he hadn't fessed up and the move had created some controversy when the Cardinals reported to Spring Training.
>
I do not, however, believe he should be kept out of the Hall of Fame but then I also thought it was wrong to keep Pete Rose out too.

I read that account and I agree that Joel's grandfather stepped over the line on that occasion.

Sure thing. Luke. Drive careful. :D
