Luke and I spent the night together after his dad paddled him for the fight he got into at school. I and other buddies like to do these sleepovers with buddies so we can feel better after what has happened, especially when it seems we don't have brothers to get us through after such an ordeal. After all, what's a Big Brother for!

Luke did a separate post about his dad paddling him, and he got it from the school principal too.

Bill, I hope your mom is home from the hospital? If not, Ipray she can be for Mother's Day. That is great you have a niece coming with baby you have not seen yet. What a treat this weekend will be for all.

Again, I will preserve the paddle and save it for my son, if I'm blessed with one, and it will be interesting to see his reaction/thoughts about it being used on me.

I have an item, a razor strap that was used on my dad by his dad which grandpa used on me, that I also have saved. Actually Luke helped me swipe it so it can't be used on anyone else to get them in trouble like my grandpa got himself into trouble using it on me. I can't believe my grandpa used that on my dad, bare butt, growing up, and went I got it used on me, Man I really felt for my dad, thinking how sad he had that used on him instead of a paddle or something else. That strap is wicked and leaves welts like you can't imagine!

That Dr. Spock, I didn't ask my dad too much about him, is that dude still alive today?

Yeah, I would agree that the lack in spankings that the kid probably has not had, that jumped on the Philly/Cards game field, probably is another example where Dr. Spock butted into that kids' parents not spanking him now or putting fear into him to be good before the jumping on the field incident!

How old was that kid, and anymore in news about him doing it?
