Hi Bill,

I think I've seen and Im answering your last message here, which I am glad to do.

Thanks again for your interest in our baseball team, win or lose, and the encouragement for a great season.

I'm nervous thinking about the Wooden Bat Tournament we have on Saturday, but I've played more important games/events then this, helping win a baseball state title last year on a team, and this year being on football team in play-offs and basketball team as one of the Final Four in state play-offs, so Saturday should be just like any other tournament play.

I want to play the best I can for the scout coming, BUT I owe it first to play best for myself, my coach and the guys on our baseball first to try to win the Wooden Bat Tournament!

So after getting spanked as a kid by your mom and the fly swatter, you used Bactine to help soothe your sore butt?
Never heard of the stuff, but I discovered that lotion has a really cooling effect to soothe and cooldown a sore butt. So have the guys, too. How'd you discover about Bactine? Your Mom find out you using it, want to discourage you from using it on your sore butt? My folks never have or my buddies folks, and we've found out that cold showers help too!

Bill, don't ever believe your dad didn't love you! I'm sure he did, and maybe it was just hard to express love in certain ways for him.

One thing you might thing of, your dad and mom had a special love for one another to get married and they wanted children, and one of those kids was a little boy named Bill.

Myabe you can look at it too, your dad loved you enough to not spank you, but to yell at you, and if he didn't care to punish you this way then he didn't love you enough not to want to do that and wouldn't have!

That's neat your dad was able to be home when he passed away. See, he loved you and your mom and family enough to want to be at home, a close family send-off and you helped grant that wish and he knew you loved him to do that and he surely loved you for doing it without having to say so!

Whow! An uncle five times over, that is COOL! Andhaving held your niece and soon to be her baby girl is really a thrill for your! Enjoy!

Far as I know my buddies have not held a baby in their arms and I never have!

Again, I'll save the special paddle that Kyle made for my dad to use on me for a special son I might have someday, IF I'm blessed with kids! Wonder if I have a son, that he will hate me for paddling him with it!

Bill, I have forgiven my grandpa for whipping me with the razor strap last November. It took me awhile to try to understand why he did it, and him too, even with the mental health service help he had.

When he called me a spoiled brat, etc., I knew he wasn't my grandpa for that time period. I have something he might hold against me, that he doesn't know I have, I have the razor strap he used on me. My buddy Luke swiped it, and grandpa has never looked for it in the barn and wondered what happened to it. I guess he thinks the police have it.

I'm still trying to picture a second grader (YOU) having cigarettes/smoking. I'm glad you was discovered, and awed that your little butt didn't get blistered that day!

I'll think about the Cardinals for a team. My dad thought enough of them and liked when Marl G. played for them, but what I hear who didn't with all of the hits he had, etc.
I got the baseball cards my dad bought of him to go with others, so we'll see. My dad got me Mickey Mantle cards, besides others, but I think he was getting them for me if I want to sell them for money. I plan on hanging onto them for awhile longer!

You are correct, IF I my buddies/team mates tried what that kid did to jump on the field at the Cards/Philly game, I or my buddies wouldn't sitdown for a month...I would guess half a year!

So you had relatives who fought in all kinds of wars? What's a matter, couldn't they get along with people good? Sorry that was a joke, and bad one, but it poped into my head and didn't mean to be disrespectful.

That is COOL to have ancestors who cared enough about their heritage to fight for what they believe in, includin those on both sides of the Civil War.

Speaking of that, one of the two ancestors I had fought, got pinned down at Battle of the Wilderness and was taken prisoner by the rebels to their Andersonville Prison. He was able to be exchanged in prisoner exchange and later discharged. While there he developed a kidney infection for the rest of his life from that hellhole of a place and later went blind and had to be cared for by his wife until he died. Luckly our U.S. Govt. gave him a pension and increased it once to help his living cost as he couldn't farm anymore due to bad eye sight.

WHOW! Related to a Lord Baltimore? He sounds like an important dude, whoever he is, and I'm NOT knocking him, just stupid in not knowing who the important man is.
What royality does that make you?

Sorry I asked your birthday, Bill. You told it/introduced yourself to the forum on April 30th. Now, see what a busy,cluttered-minded teenager I am to not remember? I got too many things on my mind!

Thanks again for GOOD LUCK on Saturday. We can use all the luck we can get all the time we play baseball to win!
