Hey Big Brother,

Thanks for sharing what You & Dave, and everyone else will be doing for todays' Mother's Day.

I got up early to post about the Wooden Bat Tourney and results-WE WON!

You can see from the game posted that I had a great game, so did the other guys! The scout commented he thought we had a "First Class ballclub and alot of major league material being molded."

The GREAT NEWS is that scout thinks I am major league baseball material!

My Mom and Dad are so thrilled, my dad the most, now he can brag about his "little Joel" made it bigtime from the start of him teaching me how to hold a plastic baseball bat correctly, to all the hard work he help me in baseball, besides Little League programs/teams I played on, and my dad giving me tips & sharing about his high school and college baseball days with me while growing up and that if I "played the game of baseball right with the talent that God gave me in my Middle & High School years that I too, could follow in my dad's footsteps to become a baseball player, and maybe even bigger things might happen for me!"

I have two sets of grandparents who are puffed out with pride, and one grandpa who is really sorry I believe that I was never a "spoiled brat!"

One of my grandma's stayed up late last night with me and we had a great talk about me growing up and her watching me
become the "well young man she hoped I would become!" It's moments like these I treasure in life!

That is COOL that Jeanne's brother Kris has come for Mother's Day visit. Hope they have a great time!

Hope the night on the town was fun, and everyone had a GREAT evening out? You guys have some great food? What did you have?

My folks and four grandparents' will be going out to eat later on, I've given the rose bushes and couldn't have picked a better idea for a gift. I got hugs/kisses all over my face. Now, if I could win Holly back and have some kisses instead of a slap I would be thrilled!

Oh, forgot to mention that the "farm girls" came to watch Sean, Cody and Luke (and I think they glanced at me once i awhile) and cheered them on. I asked about Holly, they said they told her they were coming to the tourney and invited her, but she "had other plans."

Us guys still going to the school board meeting to get prom policy changed, if not for us guys for future guys/gals so dating won't be limited. Still would love to take Holly o prom, but for right now I will try to get her to go with me, if she won't I'll show her and get another date!

Sean, Luke, Cody still working on Kyle. He was "friendly" at the tourney and I told him we need to talk, but he didn't have time after the game, etc. He did "congratulate" me on what the scout told me about being Major League Player material and said he was "proud of me!"

Dave's gift to Mollie is COOL, I hope she likes everything, and what you gave your Mom was a great choice!
Sounds like the dinner/date/for Mother's Day was a great idea...have some good food, and what? Did you end up dancing?

Speaking of that, what kind of music you and Dave into? You know I like Country Music, and no I'm not a Hillbilly!

Hope Dave and Mollie pick-out a great house. That is some wedding gift! God works in great ways to help a marriage!

That's cool that Jeanne has a birthday coming up. Do you know how old she'll be? You pick-out a gift with seniment now, Big Brother, something that will knock the socks off her! She sounds like a special lady and she is lucky to have a special man-YOU!

WHOW!

Apt. moving to Mom/Dad's soon, too...you and Dave will be busy, but I hope not too busy to keep a Little Brother informed what is happening!

Not sure, but my Mom's folks might spend a few extra days here, and they plan on coming back to be at my graduation, all grandparents to attend it!

Guess better close for now! Talk again soon, okay?
