Subject: Belated Christmas Greetings

Hey Guys, know its a few days late but Merry Christmas to each and to your families. The old flu bug bit last weekend putting me under the covers several days with stuffy head, throat, headache, chills---you name it. What a way to prep for Christmas but except for mild fatigue was back on my feet by Christmas Day. Think it was cold damp weather & hectic pace that caught up with me. Fluids & bedrest was the answer but left me behind in work & week before the big day.

Joel, think its really cool you had your mom's folks come for the holidays. Enjoyed our grandparents at Thanksgiving. That was cool too what you did playing Santa for the kids.

Dudes, a few months back we proposed keeping messages short & limiting questions so they don't get too unruly to read. I know I'm probably guilty too but we've allowed the messages to get too lengthy & some focus on past rather than keeping to present. Lets renew the effort---short to the point messages & limit questions. Those I'll read & reply. Kyle, I want to keep in touch too and will if you help me by new & short messages rather than long trails we've gotten accustomed to do with multi questions. You dudes are cool guys doing great things.

Rick

Hey all you little brothers...sounds good for a guy to say who was always the little brother himself. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to each of you. Tried to keep Rick in bed & not worrying about work so he would get better but as with growing up, Rick always shared with me & did the flu thing too. I ended up with chills & then the 'old trots' that kept me close to bed & bathroom. Well, we always talk about dad but dudes, our mom came to our rescue again and got us two boys under her wing & nursed back to health by Christmas. Think her ham dinner was the most solid food we did all week---Christmas day. Like Rick, fell behind in everything this past week.

Joel, damn proud of you little bro doing the Santa thing & then giving the money to feed the poor. You might have the little ass that Kyle talks about but dude you got a big heart. There was obvious side benefits too---all those HS girls for Santa's lap & then taking the wager from Sean that you did the Santa thing & gave him a Santa butt whuppin.

You guys have a great holiday week at the college hooping it up on the courts as well as hooping up a good time in dorms, pool, etc---what a great gift & experience.

Got to agree with Rick on the messages too. Lets keep them to the point & keep focus of message & questions on present happenings. That's my New Year resolution & I'll respond if you help in this matter. Maybe new subject lines too rather than those long ones where messages get tangled & lost. What do you say little bros??

Rick & I will obviously be playing catch up most of this short work week while you dudes are checking out the college dorm life. Have fun

Dave
