Hey dude, sounds as if you are as proud of Dave as I am. I of course grew up with him over 20 years now and at times figure I can almost read his mind. I never called him a nerd & Dave knows it, so enough of that BS but as a big brother, I did my share of hassles to put him in his place.

Joel, he did this for you dude but in reality as the challenge unfolded, Dave was doing a big part, I think, for himself too...to prove himself. There were moments when he wanted you to succeed not only for your goal but so he could clear things in his mind about growing up. If you read his other message about his talk & ultimately convincing dad Wednesday night to whip his ass, though light-heartedly, for the past, feeling something missing, you get a better picture why he wanted you to win so he would win too & have 'his questions' & conscience resolved.

Dave would not have had it any other way than how it unfolded last night. I was not too tough with him. No more than dad would have been some 5-10 years ago. I promised you a ribbon-striped butt when I got through with him & I see you ask him about red ring marks...dude, he had enough red holly berries across his ass to make a Christmas wreath.

Enough from me. I'll let Dave deal with you about any other details he cares to input. You think Kyle's paddle is now retired & a trophy or will see any more action either with your dad or trading with jock buds?
