We just knew better than to dig a deeper hole. We were caught & we knew our butts would likely pay.

He just got out the paddle & told us to empty back jean pockets & bend over his desk. We knew the max was 5 & guess we hoped for less but got the 5. Taking a note home & facing our dads was more scary.

No respectable 8th grade guy would want to wimp out or cry in front of other guys at school.

His belt came off & my ass got the whipping I figured I was getting. There I bawled plenty. Dad had a way of letting his belt do most of the talking.

There was school the next day so it was hike up shorts & jeans again next morning & sit as best I could. Most of intense discomfort gone. That evening I was grounded to my room & early bed so it was bare butt & face down for me.

Dad never went into those details. Grandpa just thought that was the way to do a strap whipping I guess. Glad I never found out first hand. Must hurt worse than belt.

I was already in position across his leg getting my butt paddled wearing briefs. Wise mouthed 'that don't hurt' & dad just paused long enough to yank down those briefs & finish the paddling bare ass---believe me that hurt!!!
