Kyle--- I'm not sure if the girl was punished by her parents for the arguement, but words in an arguement does not excuse Alex's physical response--- attack putting the gum in her hair. Alex traded his cookies for gum. I guess boys do that sort of thing. I don't know whether he was punished, as that doesn't really matter to me.

Alex was a little quiet the next morning for breakfast. I sent him to school with a $30 check made out to the girl's mother for the hair stylist bill. I thought it was more important for Alex to apologize himself, rather than for me to do it on his behalf.

Jason knew he was going to be spanked but didn't know about the hair brush until after it was over. He did go up to the bedroom and helped little Alex to calm down after the spanking. They both sleep in just their boxers, so when i peeked in after they fell asleep, i noticed alex was lying face down,boxers down, most likely to cool off his sore behind.

There is a bottle of hand lotion in their bathroom, but i don't think my boys know about soothing effects on sore butts yet. Thats fine with me, as i think Alex needed to be rubbing a stinging sore bottom for a few days anyways.
