Hey Joel,

Listen up 'little bro', this moody nonsense on both your part and Dave's is coming to an end, blaming and beating up on yourselves. I've read your messages as well as others to Dave and he & I had a big sit down last night at the apartment & talked this us. What you & all the guys have said I told him was perfectly clear. Past is now past. Any apologizes needed already said & its over. I told him I was still that big bro who always backed him when needed & still do and now he has a cadre of friends doing the same and he better get his head out of his ass & wake up to that fact. He has a tight schedule today, as I do also, but wanted to take these few moments over lunch break to tell you Dave will likely message you this evening...if he dont, he's bucking for an ass-kicking from his big bro.

Now for your part 'little bro', you get your head out of your ass too. I've read a couple messages that say you are mopping around over this & not focusing on your mid-term studies or on the Friday game & both right now are damn important, so get focused dude. As with Dave, you have buddies out there depending on you & you better not let them down. Now dude, you get focused & I mean now...before Friday & before you screw it up at school & blow those honor roll grades which is your ticket to college & a future. I'll follow-up with Dave this evening to make sure he does his part & you look for his message tomorrow when your time from school & practice permits. I'm counting on Kyle & the others to hold you to your part too.

Now off the subject a bit...told you guys how our dad gave us that scare with his heart last April. Well he had a 6 month checkup yesterday, that is why Dave & I are buried still today with work, and wow man, it was cool. His heart sounds good; dropped some weight hew needed to do; blood pressure & cholestrol better;...the old man is on track & appreciate letting me bust a few 'proud buttons' with this good news. Also, my insurance exam is Nov 3 with a prep review conference (workshop) day before. Dave is going with me for moral support & I know I'll kick butt on the 3rd just as you kick butt this Friday night...right 'little bro'?

OK, enough said for now. Got to shallow a few more bites & get back to work.
