Subject: It was an interesting night of racing. Kelly and his crew worked feverishly all week long to get the track ready after the torrential rains at the first of the week. The beautiful day brought out the racers, the fans and unfortunately the moisture from under the track. We were off to a late start to make sure the track was just right. Once we got under way man, did we see some fine racing. We had a 20 car line-up with 18 taking the first round. Low ET went to Tony Linduff with Bryan Mathis 1/1000 of a second behind him. Guess who drew each other in the first round. Bryan blew the tires off and Tony advanced to run Jay Moore. Jay took the next round with a 5.09. We saw lots of heads up racing and until the win light came on it was hard to tell who your winner was. CONTINUED
