Subject: 1996 bmw for sale Author: She Devil [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 15:50:02 10/02/09 Fri It’s a 1996 BMW 328IS….standard 5 speed. It has 170k miles but it drives great. Inside is clean, and if I remember right the seats were recovered about 2 years ago so the leather seats are in fairly good condition. It needs an altanator, we’ve had it tested 2 times and they’ve said it’s bad so it will drive, but it drags down the battery. He found a place that sells them and even Auto Zone says they are like right under $200.00 for the part. But it can be rebuilt for about 50 bucks.The only other things that are wrong are… the windows won’t roll down…and I think it’s because it’s off track so Joe may be able to pull off the door panel and fix it, and I think the other thing is it needs an AC Belt which broke a few weeks ago. Other then that it’s fine. Joe just got a truck from his boss so we don’t need 4 cars sitting out back! The blue book value on this is a lot more then he is asking!
