Subject: But was he the oldest living Hall of Famer ever? When Al Lopez died at age 97, twelve years ago, they said he was.

Did another player get older than Lopez or Doerr in the intervening years?

Yes, Doerr was the oldest Hall of Fame baseball player ever. Al Lopez is the 2nd oldest. Currently the oldest living Hall of Fame member is Red Schoendienst, who's 94. (NT)egee33Wednesday, November 15, 07:38:36pm
