Nancy Kelly Trump (Nancy Marlow) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 28th, 2018 in Santa Barbara, California.

Nancy was born in New York City in 1922 and considered herself a New Yorker, though her family moved to Redwood City, California before she was a teenager. She excelled in school and loved it; especially theatre, French and basketball. After graduating from Sequoia High School, Nancy moved with her family and settled in Toluca Lake, California, which became her long time home. Her talents with acting, singing and dancing landed her a contract as an RKO starlet. Nancy has a long list of credits covering radio, TV, stage and film. While under contract to RKO and Warner Bros., she appeared in several films including: "The Enchanted Cottage," "Sing Your Way Home," and "The Falcon In Hollywood." TV appearances include "General Hospital," "Streets Of San Francisco" and "Mama's Family." She was also in the 1980 cult classic film, American Crude. Nancy was very patriotic; she was proud of her service as an "American Girl" hostess in the USO, greeting and entertaining soldiers and veterans of World War II.

In 1946 Nancy married Roger E. Kelly and together they made their home in Toluca Lake where they raised a family of three children: Lisa, Tom, and Gina. They enjoyed the American dream: family vacations to Hawaii and Lake Arrowhead, Lakeside Golf Club, St Charles Borromeo Church, Little League and countless other memorable experiences. During this time, Nancy continued her career as an actress and entrepreneur. With her love of people and adventure, she opened up two clothing stores, "The Room Upstairs" in Studio City and "Sara's Shop" in Toluca Lake.

Later in life, Nancy married her second husband, Robert H. Trump. In their retirement, they split time between Santa Barbara and Toluca Lake. While in Santa Barbara, Nancy wrote and published "Ruby": a pictorial biography of her dear friend, Ruby Keeler. Nana Nancy was a doting grandmother to her grandchildren, Trevor and Kelly. Memories include riding the train at the zoo, sushi lunches and family friendly etiquette lessons known as "Nana's Manners." While in Toluca Lake, Nancy combined her writing skills with her "Hollywood" insight writing the columns "Lunch With Nancy" and "Out and About" featured regularly in the Tolucan Newspaper.

We will always remember you for your love of family and friends, your beauty, charisma, racy sense of humor, singing, tap dancing, love for dogs, and devotion to the Catholic Church. Peace be with you Nana, we miss you and will love you always.

Nancy is preceded in death by her father: Herbert Stern; mother: Helen Stern Marlow; and sister: Maxine Hill.

Nancy is survived by her children: Tom Kelly (Trisha) of Encinitas, Lisa Kelly Klark (James Klark) of Seattle and Gina Kosmo (Dave Kosmo) of Santa Barbara; brother: Michael Stern (Sandy) of Marlton, New Jersey; nieces and nephews: Bert Stern (Christine), Sara Neal (Dave), Reese Stern (Courtney), Sally Bender and Susan Brooking (Alan); grand nieces and nephews: Caroline, Luke, and Lindsay Neal and David Bender; step-grand children: Shauna Galligan and Serena Courtney (Ron); and their children: Kyson Galligan, Taylor and Ryland Courtney. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday March 16th at 11:30 a.m. at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Goleta.
