GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAW) -- The last survivor of the Curly Lambeau era has died.

Dan Orlich was believed to be the oldest living former Green Bay Packers player left before he passed away last Friday in Reno, Nevada.

He was selected in the 8th round of the 1949 NFL Draft, and spent 3 seasons with the Packers.

His first season was Lambeau's last as head coach of the team.

He retired from football before the 1952 season and in 1979 was inducted into the national Trapshooting Hall of Fame.

He was 94 years old.
