In reply to: Any knowledge on their whereabouts today?? 's message, "Wow, Ethel Jr's 2 children (ages 5 & 6 then), would now be ages 56, and 57." on Saturday, February 16, 12:19:05am

Barbara – daughter of Ethel Levitt Geary and granddaughter of Ethel Merman – served as guest artist at the University of Michigan when Bit Obscura was in development under the title Little Bit at the School of Theatre, Music, and Dance in 2015. Barbara portrayed Benay Venuta in the staged reading directed by Priscilla Lindsay and has since worked closely with author Mary Butler to authenticate the script by correlating fictional elements of the characters with personal letters and writings of Ethel Levitt. Barbara has traveled to New York to review the project with Austin Pendleton and to participate in table readings of the work. Barbara’s professional career as an actress, director, and theatre manager divides her time between upstate New York, New Mexico, and Texas. She runs the Scarborough Renaissance Festival in Waxahachie from January through May each year, yet considers Albuquerque home where she is an active member of the theatre community as both actor and director.
