1.) The original Twilight Zone is my favorite TV show of all time.

2.) This first episode was too long, but I did like Tracey Morgan (actually the best acting I've ever seen him do) in the episode.

3.) If it was free or on Netflix I would keep watching it, but I wouldn't pay for it.

*The beauty of the original is that GREAT effort was in honing the brilliant art of writing, character, and powerful acting into 22 minutes. With that said there are FEW TV writers today educated enough and with real life experiences to create -and retool classic fables- (because that's what the original TZ writers did) into something "pure" and entertaining. I believe Serling and his men, caught lightning in a bottle 60 years ago. Not all were gems. Of its 156 episodes IMO, 20% were clunkers, and certainly the one-hour experiment in season 4 were mostly abysmal. It's no wonder the format was abandoned in season 5.

I truly respect Jordan Peele's work, and he IS a huge lifetime fan of TZ, and just wants to tweak it to the 21st century.
But, can you really "tweak" TZ alum like Rod Serling, Charles Beaumont, or Richard Matheson?

...You're treading on the hallowed hem of greatness.
