Dana James Hutton (May 31, 1934 June 2, 1979) was an American actor in film and television best remembered for his role as Ellery Queen in the 1970s TV series of the same name and his screen partnership with Paula Prentiss in four films, starting with Where the Boys Are. He is the father of actor Timothy Hutton.

40 years! ...Solid actor, but I'm glad that he was another young TWILIGHT ZONE actor who spread his acting wings far and wide w/his 1st notable early TV effort. Hutton left the memorable early screen performance from TZ's Season 1 "And When the Sky Was Opened" in 1959! ...The classic 22-min TZ episode starred Rod Taylor, w/other ill-fated actors Charles Aidman and Sue Randall!Monday, June 03, 06:15:44pm
