Thomas Christopher Street

Malibu, CA - Thomas Christopher Street, a long-time resident of Farmington, but most recently of Malibu, CA met Jesus face-to-face on June 22, 2019. He died of congestive heart failure at the age of 55.

Tom was born in Bourne, Massachusetts on November 19, 1963 to Frank and Carol Trudeau. He was raised in large part by his maternal grandparents, Harley and Alexia Street of Denver. He cherished the time he spent with his extended family during his childhood.

The Streets moved to Farmington, where Tom was later elected president of his senior class, and graduated from FHS in 1982. Tom had a flair for the dramatic, and credited his drama teacher, Chuck Ramsey, with saving his life. The depth of that sentiment was realized years later when Tom donated one of his kidneys in a life-saving act to his former teacher.

Tom was very involved in local theater in Farmington, and was an active member of the San Juan Stage Company. He made several local and national TV commercials, and even had roles in several films and television series. He moved to California in 2004, and there he loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, acting on the stage, and his life in Malibu. It was there that Tom discovered his artistic talents of painting and photography.

Tom Street was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, his mother Carol Zwiener, father Frank Trudeau, sister Dominique Jacquez, brother Richard Street, and grandmother Gwendolyn Trudeau. He is survived by his brother Frank Zwiener, stepfather Don Zwiener, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will held for Tom on Sunday, August 18, 2019, at the Masonic Lodge in Aztec. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a donation to their favorite charity. Please bring a dish to share after the service.

Published in Farmington Daily Times from Aug. 7 to Aug. 11, 2019.
