In reply to: Even if there was a lake by the road, I would have traced EVERY step...instead of saying "Oh well, grandma's gone." 's message, "As the family member of a person missing after driving to a wedding, it's BEYOND me that her family did NOT backtrack every inch of that trip??" on Saturday, September 14, 02:52:07pm

Friends of mine lost there son to an accident. They searched and searched. Didnít find him for 6 months. They searched that area several times but missed his wrecked truck. I lived in the Santa Cruz mountain. The area is a rainforest. A high school girl drove a mile to the store and went missing. Took 3 days to find where she went off the road. Iíve heard others, it just happens. Something blocks the view and you just donít see it.

No, I get what you're saying, one can go days, weeks, months without finding obvious remains, BUT 27 years and you're not going to search EVERY senario, and just be down with the 'Okie-doke' on granny?? No way. You search! (NT)A friend of mine piloting a plane was lost in mountains. His father searched 8 months every week HIMSELF, before he found the wreck!Saturday, September 14, 08:24:03pm
Local story from the 70's: Young HS couple went to prom and was last seen in a restaurant that night (NT)Found three years later in car submerged in a nearby pondTuesday, September 17, 06:15:17am
