Year after year we have this debate over who was or wasnt included . Yet with all the different channels on TV now available , i just cant see how there is anyway everyone could be remembered during the telecast.
The problem is esecially pronounced during the Emmys , but it is now showing up on the Grammys and Oscars as well.

Perhaps the time would be better spent making sure year end rememberaces like CBS's Sunday Morning's "Hail and Farewell" include many of those being overlooked during the awards season.

Plus face it "Superstars" will be claimed by multiple awards shows due to their "superstar" status. Which also hurts the lesser known stars.

But as i see it There are just to many "celebrities" out thare now ,and the lesser known ones that die each year will be more and more overlooked as time goes on.

It should be very black&white...honored EMMY winners and nominees have priorities, then you can add Potsie from Happy Days, after that! (NT)Other larger award shows, should hold the same rule, but they have larger membership.Monday, September 23, 04:11:31pm
