Subject: I think you're confusing the 'Memoriam' topic, with award presentations. Distributing awards is different than honoring their dead. Again the omitted dead would have added just 80 seconds more.

What you're talking about is an ENTIRE awards ceremony, and not the deserving deceased.

The point I'm making is that with awards for technical categories now numbering dozens for each individual nominee, if you're going to honor the deceased simply because they won an award, it's going to get unwieldy as more and more people get awards or nominations.
