Subject: I think later Bickford and Jones were kindred spirits (also appeared together in classic "Duel in the Sun "), with family dramas. Like Jones' daughter, Bickford's son was troubled, as well, dying at 39. But Charlie was messed from childhood, nearly killing a trolley driver for running over his pet dog -later acquitted. He was plagued by alcohol much of his life.
How he did "Days of WIne and Roses", I do not know?
