Subject: Coincidentally...I just watched a great episode of "Lawman" from 1959 which featured Mr. Drury as the guest star.

In reply to: colt 's message, "James Drury was in 3 eps of walker" on Tuesday, April 07, 03:59:59pm

First, I'll say that "Lawman" was one of my favorite TV westerns; serious, not silly.

This episode has Drury as a former acquaintance of Dan Troop's. He's the guy who married Troop's former sweetheart (and who has since died). Drury's character (Clay) has arrived in Laramie to warn Troop of a gang that's out to get him. Oh: A little surprise ending, too. The episode:

FUN FACT: Another forgotten factoid on old actors and "Once Upon a Time...", the late Luke Perry was cast in the film in August 2018 to portray actor Wayne Maunder, who was 'Murdoch Lancer' in TV's "Lancer", featured in the Tarantino film. By Nov. 2018, Maunder was dead, and just 5 months later Perry too was dead! ...FACTOID 2.0: Wayne Maunder's real-life son (who also died at a young age) was named "Dylan", which was Luke Perry's famed character's name in TV's "Beverly Hills, 90210"!Thursday, April 09, 12:19:50am
