In reply to: TMZ 's message, "Pamela Baird AKA Mary Ellen Rogers is still alive at 75." on Monday, May 18, 12:34:14pm

Ken Osmond, who gained world-wide fame portraying the smart-alecky mischievous Eddie Haskell on the “Leave It to Beaver” TV show, died Monday in his Los Angeles home. His immediate family was by his side. He was 76 and would’ve turned 77 on June 7. The cause of death is unknown.
I believe Ken Osmond was in on all 234 “Leave It To Beaver” shows as Eddie Haskell. After the show ended, he became a Los Angeles motorcycle cop for many years.
I personally own the entire “Beaver” series on DVD and still watch the show on METV weekdays mornings at 8a and 830a local time.
At least six principal members of the “Beaver” cast are deceased. Hugh Beaumont (Ward Cleaver) died in 1982; Barbara Billingsley (June Bronson Cleaver) passed away in 2010; Stanley Fafara (Whitey Whitney) died on his 54th birthday in 2003; Cheryl Hodridge (Julie Foster) was 64 when she died in 2009; Frank Bank (Clarence Lumpy Rutherford) passed away a day after his 71st birthday in 2013; and Richard Deacon (Fred Rutherford) died in 1984.
Countless times, Ken Osmond would portray Eddie Haskell with some wise guy remarks…like saying “Hey, Squirt”…or would do something to get Beaver (Jerry Mathers) and/or Wally (Tony Dow) Cleaver into trouble. But…
Not always.
Once, when Wally and Beaver were camping outside in the back yard. They were trying to fall asleep in a tent in spite of rain. That’s when Wally advised Beaver something like this: “Hey, Beaver, don’t touch the tent with your finger because it’ll cause a hole in the tent. Eddie told me that once.”
Apparently Beaver didn’t believe it…so…
A few seconds later, Beaver told Wally….
“Wally….Eddie was right.”
