Harriet Gibson
(June 14, 1915 - July 18, 1989)

Actress Harriet Gibson was born Harriet June Burk in Washington Township, Iowa.
She is best remembered for her trademark of playing large lady roles, most notably as
'Annabelle', the sister of mercantile owner 'Nels Olsen' on the "Little House On The Prairie"
television series in 1979. Her other television appearances include, "The Red Skelton Hour",
"Bewitched", "Love, American Style", "The Belle Of 14th Street", "The Tonight Show With
Johnny Carson", and "Concrete Cowboys". Her film credits include, "The Hoax" (1972),
"How To Break Up A Happy Divorce" (1976), "The World's Greatest Lover" (1977),
"The Lord Of The Rings" (1977), and "Why Would I Lie?" (1980). Harriet Gibson was 74.
