This one hurts. I always liked George Segal since "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" (1966) -the last of cast to go. Old character now, but ppl forgot he was LEADING actor from the 1960s " No Way to Treat a Lady", to 1970s "Fun with Dick & Jane", to 1980s "Look Who's Talking", "The Last Married Couple in America" w/Natalie Wood. ~Sleep, well. (NT)-Terrific actor always.! -RIPTuesday, March 23, 11:46:37pm
Another one from "The Longest Day" gone... Not many left alive from that gigantic cast list, here is a list I made.Fredrik AnderssonWednesday, March 24, 02:46:56am
FUN FACT: Segal played Denzel Washington's father in his debut 1981 feature film "Carbon Copy", a comedy about a long-lost black teen son who shows up on doorstep of prominent exec altering dad's cushy life, comedy ensues. ...Can't believe it 40 years ago!Wednesday, March 24, 03:09:00am
He seemed to be everywhere back in the '70's, and was an A-lister at that time (NT)Big names from that era are now starting to fade away - sadWednesday, March 24, 06:42:23am
