I got smacked on the bare bottom in front of my 3 sisters on a regular basis. My mother would haul me over her knee and pull my underpants down straight away. Having had about a ten minute wooden spooning I would then be told to lie on the sofa while my mother would lift my legs up and my father would strap my bare bottom and upper thighs. Through all this tearful experience my sisters would be present but when they were given the same treatment I was never present and always wondered why this was .

Only boys in our family got paddled and we got it (not often) even thru high school--girls never got a spanking---We only got it in front of our brothers in our bedroom--It hurt--however it was not a big deal to get it with your brothers watching---as privacy was non existant for the boys---I did feel sorry for my youngest brother--we all kind of liked him best
